Susan Vincent Obituary

Susan Yvonne Vincent

May 22nd, 1957 - February 3rd, 2026

Susan Yvonne Vincent, 68, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026.

Born on May 22, 1957, in New York to William and Pauline (Glover) Vincent, Susan lived a life defined by service, faith, and kindness. She proudly served her country in the United States Navy for 23 years, earning an honorable discharge and the respect and admiration of all who served alongside her. Her military career carried her to many places, including Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Everett, Washington; Sicily; and ultimately to Virginia Beach, where she made her home.

Susan attended Bartram High School in Philadelphia and remained a lifelong learner, always eager to try something new or lend a helping hand. After settling in Virginia Beach, she became a devoted member of Azalea Garden Church, where she joyfully served in the children's ministry and lifted her voice in the choir. Her faith was a steady light that guided her life and touched everyone around her.

She found happiness in simple, creative pleasures-singing, crocheting, gardening, housekeeping, and tackling countless do-it-yourself projects. Susan had a natural gift for making a house feel like a home, not only for herself but for others as well. She was known throughout her neighborhood for her compassion and generosity, often helping others with home care or whatever was needed. If someone needed support, Susan was there without hesitation.

Above all, Susan will be remembered for her loving heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering willingness to serve others. Her warmth, kindness, and beautiful smile left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
