Mr. David Hennard
Mr. Gerald David Hennard, affectionally called, David, age 76, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed from this life on Friday, February 23, 2024, in the Sevier County Medical Center, De Queen.
He was one of four children born to Roy Allie and Gertie Mae Ross Hennard. David was born in De Queen, Arkansas, on September 13, 1947. He was a retired crane operator and attended the De Queen First Assembly of Church. David married Juanda Jean Smalling in De Queen, Arkansas on February 24, 1980. He had a passion for fishing, hunting, tinkering, working, but his best time spent was with Juanda, his family, and especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
David was preceded by his parents, and his sisters, Patsy Wilson and Marilyn Houser.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 44 years, Juanda, his sons, David Scott Hennard and his wife, Dianne King of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Jason Bradley Hennard, and his partner, Jackie Cupples of Clearwater, Florida, and Don and his wife, Tammy Clay of Hope, Arkansas, his daughters, LaJuanna Baggs and Jose Olalde of De Queen, Arkansas, and Mistie and her husband, Marty Arivett of Langley, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Jordan and her husband, Cory McMellon, Madison and her husband, Brenden Camp, and Zachary Clay; his great-grandchildren, Maxx McMellon, Juliet Kate McMellon, and Caroline Elaine Camp; his brother and sister-in-law, Don and Sally Hennard of De Queen, Arkansas. David is also survived by his wife's family, a brother-in-law, Jim and Donna Smalling of Idabel, Oklahoma, his sisters-in-law, Marilyn and her husband, Melvin Baker of Hochatown, Oklahoma, Carolyne Davidson of Idabel, Oklahoma, and Brenda Sullivan of Texarkana, Texas, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends.
Funeral Services for Mr. David Hennard will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. in the De Queen First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Ray Reynolds and Rev. Lyn Gaskey officiating. Interment will follow in Redmen Cemetery, De Queen. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Chandler Funeral Home of De Queen. You may leave a condolence online at www.chandlerfuneral.com.
