Gerald Edward Ignash, 73, passed away on September 29, 2025.Born on October 17, 1951, in Kinde, Michigan to Ervin and Margaret (Eppenbrock) Ignash.
He graduated from Kinde High School in 1969 and was a proud football Warrior. He remained closely rooted in his community and home state. Those who knew Gerald will remember him for the presence he brought to family gatherings and the bonds he shared with those around him.
Gerald is lovingly remembered by his children: Magi (Ignash) and Eric Patterson, Brady Ignash, Hanna Ignash and Brandon Jubar. He held a special place in his heart for his grandchildren Fischer and Otto Patterson, Allen, Chase and Lillian Ignash, Robert Jubar.
He is survived by his brother Larry Ignash, Steven (Joann) Ignash, William (Nancy) Ignash and Debbie (Robert) Craig along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his firstborn son, Michael; his father Ervin and mother Margaret.
May Gerald's memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
According to Gerald's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private service will be held at Blessed Trinity Church Frankenmuth, Michigan.
