Gerald "Jerry" Eckhoff - Age 84, of Estero, FL, passed away on July 13, 2025. A memorial service will take place at 11 AM on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, located at 6063 Fenton Rd, Grand Blanc, followed by a luncheon and gathering to celebrate his life. Born on April 21, 1941, in St. Louis, MO, Jerry was the cherished son of Adolph and Viola (Aholt) Eckhoff. He dedicated three decades of his life to Wickes Lumber, serving with distinction as a licensed contractor across 40 states. A man of innovative spirit, he held a patent for a footing pad utilized in construction, reflecting his ingenuity.

Jerry found joy in the simple pleasures of life—immersing himself in books, engaging in puzzles, and proudly earning the title of the "king of naps." His family was his greatest treasure, and he took immense pride in the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Susan; his children, Lynn (Nick) Liberati, Bryan (Therese) Eckhoff, and Tim Eckhoff; his grandchildren, Anna Eckhoff (Fabian Damm), Caroline Eckhoff, Michelle Eckhoff, Joe Eckhoff, Josh Eckhoff, and Simone Liberati; as well as his sister, Patricia (Ed) Bax; his brother, Michael Eckhoff; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will forever hold memories of him in their hearts.

Jerry was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth and Ronald; as well as his sisters-in-law, Susan and Jackie.
