Gerald "Jerry" Stewart Obituary
Age 91, longtime resident of Frankfort, passed away Saturday, August 16th, 2025 at Elevate Care Abington in Glenview.
Jerry is survived by his loving family, son, Arthur (Nicole) Stewart, grandchildren, Tommy Stewart, Harper Stewart, sister, Madelon Meents and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur & Frieda Stewart (Schonfeldt), wife, Linda A. Stewart (Raffke), son, Robert Stewart and sister Gay Wannier.
Jerry was a United States Army Veteran, longtime member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Frankfort and a big fan of the Frankfort Fall Festival. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Family will receive friends for visitation at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Sunday, August 24th, 2025 from 12:00 PM with the memorial service at 2:00 PM. Interment will be private at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Frankfort IL at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
