GERALD RODNEY "JERRY" KARSCHNER

1941 - 2025

Gerald Rodney "Jerry" Karschner, 84, of Wellsboro, went to be with the Lord on September 1, 2025, in Naples, Florida. Born January 31, 1941, in Coudersport, he was the son of the late William and Patricia Karschner. Jerry was a member of the First Baptist Church of Galeton for many years. He was well respected in the community and a proud partner in the second generation of William R. Karschner and Sons Insurance. Jerry worked alongside his father, brothers, wife, son and daughter. He was a flight instructor for many years and loved flying his plane and sharing it with others. He loved spending time with his wife and family.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Gail Karschner as well as his children; son, Kris Karschner and his wife Susie; daughter Julie Heck and her husband Bradley; grandchildren, Kadin Karschner-Quick, MacKenzie Karschner, Alexandra Heck, Kabrie Jackson and Joel Heck.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
