Gerald C. "Jerry" Koepp

Gerald "Jerry" Chester Koepp, born on February 23, 1943, entered eternal rest on Sunday, June 15th, 2025, his wife and family members at his side.
Jerry was a proud graduate of Hartford High School, Class of 1961. He went on to become a skilled meat cutter by trade. In 1985, he married his former classmate, Helen Beine (Jackson). The couple later moved to Glendale, Arizona, where Jerry worked as a supervisor at the Creamette Division of Borden Foods Corp. in Tolleson. Following the plant's closure in 1996, he returned to meat cutting at various grocery stores in the Glendale area.
In 2001, Jerry and Helen retired and relocated to Mayville, Wisconsin. There, they became actively involved in the community-Jerry served as President of the Mayville Senior Citizens, while Helen held the position of Treasurer for ten years.
Jerry had a wide range of interests and hobbies. He especially enjoyed playing Sheepshead and was a longtime member of the Jim Beam Bottle Collectors Club, often attending conventions and traveling with fellow collectors. He had a love for animals-every dog that met him seemed to love him in return. Jerry also had a passion for world history and found great joy in spending time outdoors, appreciating the beauty of nature.
Jerry will be truly missed by his wife, Helen Koepp; his cherished children: Michael Koepp (Ismari) of Waukesha, Susan Nader (Doug) of Brookfield, Jason Koepp (Lisa), and Jodi Koepp of Neillsville; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Erwin Sr. and Emily Koepp; and his brother, Erwin Jr.
Memorial Services for Jerry will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at St. Kilian Catholic Church (236 W. State St., Hartford, WI 53027). Family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00 a.m. until the start of Mass at 12:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Kilian Catholic church or a charity of your choice.
