Jerry was born on November 5, 1940 in Madison, Wisconsin to Ray Marble and Edith (Becket) Marble. He was a graduate of Central High School after which he joined the United States Navy and was eventually honorably discharged. He had an over 35-year career working for National Cash Register (NCR), the dino version of I.T.

After retiring from NCR, he started a “handyman” business with his brother, Rober Marble. He enjoyed woodworking and building furniture. He could fix just about anything—this became a problem when he had grandkids…. “Don’t worry. Grandpa can fix it!” he could fix most things but not all…

Jerry’s greatest love after his family was animals. He had many pets and stray cats out on his daughter’s farm, and his dog, Chico, was his shadow.

Jerry is survived by his daughter Christilynn “Misti”; grandchildren Gerid, Trevor (Cassie) with their children Owen, Hadlee, and Cal; Logan (Sydney), Ryan, and Kaitlyn with her daughter Eliza; sister Nieta; sister-in-law Barbara; and several other nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife Davilee (Bass) in 2019; daughter Dachelle; parents Ray and Edith; parents-in-law; brother Robert; two sisters Genevieve and Naydean; nephews Dennis, Samuel, and Thomas; and niece Paula; and one great-nephew Ryan; brothers-in-law Kenny, Ralph, Lowell, Gene, and John; and sister-in-law Helen.

A celebration of life is pending for a later date.
