Gerald A. Olsen aka Jerry "Olie" Olsen, 83, passed away on January 2, 2026. He is survived by his beloved daughters Sherri (the late Ronald "Steve") Weaver and Merry (the late Gene) Olsen-Mauser; his cherished grandchildren Felicia Swigert, Tiffany Duncan, Cassie Duncan, Jennifer (Daryl Marshall) Mauser, and Maureen (Jeff Schenning) Mauser; his precious great-grandchildren Daveion Alexander, Donavon Castillo, and Mya Marshall; his dear siblings David Olsen and Patricia Jones; his treasured extended family Bill (Elizabeth) Zickovich, Danielle Krizek, and Moriah Orth; and his dear dog Toby.
He was preceded in passing by his beloved wife of nearly 50 years Dona Olsen nee Cody; his proud parents Lewis and Theophilia Olsen; his dear brothers Mike Olsen and Andrew Olsen; and his precious pets Peanut and Lucky.
Friends and family will meet for visitation on Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 4PM-8PM at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL. The entombment will take place the following day on Friday, January 9, 2026 at 1PM at Warren Cemetery
