Gerald Phipps Obituary
Gerald Phipps, 60, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024, in Jackson, Mississippi. Gerald was born November 27, 1963 to Carl and Vivian Phipps in Forest, Mississippi.
Gerald was a sweet soul who brought immense joy to anyone he encountered. He loved to dance and listen to music, and especially loved to eat a good meal. His infectious smile could light up a room and his absence will be felt by all who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Walter Phipps; and two nephews, Shannon Purvis and Michael Allen Foreman.
He is survived by three sisters, Brenda Foreman (Ronnie), Sarah McDaniel (Keith), Dianne Henderson (George); two brothers, David Phipps, and Jamie Phipps (Stephanie); nieces and nephews, Jason Foreman, Aaron Henderson, Tye Henderson, Lauren McDonnieal, Brent Foreman, Benjamin Foreman, Thomas Phipps, Kayla Sykes, Hannah Grace Phipps, and Kim Bradford.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 21 from 5-8pm at Ott and Lee of Forest. Services will be held Tuesday at 10am in the chapel. Graveside service will follow at New Goodhope Cemetery.
Ott and Lee is honored to serve the Phipps family.
