Gerald Randolph Red Cloud

Gerald Randolph Red Cloud, Sr. was born on March 13, 1962 in White Clay, NE to Christine Ghost Bear-Red Cloud and Bernard Red Cloud, Sr. Gerald made his journey to the Spirit World on May 24, 2023 at the Pine Ridge Hospital in Pine Ridge, SD. Gerald was the 5th generation of the "Great Chief Red Cloud."
Gerald is survived by his wife of 46 years, Emily Lakota; daughters, Jerilyn (Rodney), Jessica, Marion, Christina, Miranda, and Leandra; sons, Farrell, Tyrone, Gerald, Jr., and Matthew Red Cloud; 23 grandsons; 12 granddaughters; brothers, Henry John, Ronald, Darrell, and Timothy; sisters, Charlotte, Geraldine, Norma, and Nyla; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Gerald was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Red Cloud, Sr.; mother, Christine Ghost Bear-Red Cloud; brother, Bernard "Alfred" Red Cloud, Jr.; sisters, Delores "Sissy" Red Cloud; paternal grandparents, Nelly Kills Enemy and Alfred Red Cloud; step-grandfather, Silas Yellow Boy; maternal grandparents, Grace Iron Heart and Theodore Ghost Bear; nephews, Arnold Big Crow, Theodore Red Cloud, and Robert Two Eagles; granddaughters, Naudia Sunshine and Zaniyah Rose.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Bisonette, Tim Black Bear, Jared Cordier, Christopher Red Cloud, Andrew Thorsen, Henry Red Cloud, Markus Red Cloud, James Red Cloud, and Dale Garnier.
