Guy William Red Cloud was born on December 5, 1945 in Pine Ridge, SD to Chief Oliver Red Cloud and Ellen "Helena" Twiss-Red Cloud. Guy made his journey to the Spirit World on February 5, 2025 at the Ft. Meade Veterans Healthcare System in Sturgis, SD.
Guy is survived by his children, Troy Red Cloud, Sr., Michelle Red Cloud, Tamara Red Cloud, Levi Red Cloud, William Standing Rock, Karla Cuny, Lynette "Sandy" Cuny, and Darcy Cuny; daughter-in-law, Stacy Hicks; brothers, Paul Red Cloud, and Marty Red Cloud, Sr.; sister, Mona Brown; hunka brother, Tuffy Sierra, hunka sister, Kimberly Left Hand; and god-daughter, Apryl Red Cloud.
Guy was preceded in death by his parents, Chief Oliver & Ellen "Helena" (Twiss) Red Cloud; wife, Lucille Hernandez; sons, Curtis Stover, Warren Wyatt Red Cloud, and Gilbert Cuny; sisters, Nancy Red Cloud-Perez, Theresa Red Cloud, and Esther Red Cloud; brothers, Verdell Red Cloud, Sr., Lyman Red Cloud, Sr., Anthony "Tony" Red Cloud, Sr.; grandchildren, Samantha Touche, John Paul Red Cloud, and David Cuny, Jr. paternal grandparents, Charles & Laura Standing Bear-Red Cloud; maternal grandparents, William Twiss & Susie Tobacco; paternal great grandparents, Jack Red Cloud & Nancy Poor Elk; and maternal great grandparents, Adam Tobacco & Millie B. Bissonette.
