Gerald Wayne Sangster of Cleveland, Texas went home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 11, 2025 at the age of 75. He was born on October 1, 1949 to parents, Turner and Vera Sangster along with his brother, Gary Sangster and sister, Ida Sangster.
Gerald shared 54 years of his life in marriage to his loving wife, Connie Kay whom he married in November, 1970. He was the proud father of Jeremy Sangster, Lisa Franklin, and Ronnie Sangster, and he treasured his four grandchildren: Cameron Franklin, Ryan Franklin, Emma Franklin, and Anna Sangster.
He worked most of his years as a machinist at Texteam and was a professional roofer on the side. He was a jack of all trades, never needing to call a mechanic or a repairman. He used his DIY knowledge and skills to help anyone who needed it. After his retirement, he enjoyed his days spent out on the lake catching fish and especially in his garage, using his mechanic skills to restore vintage cars.
Gerald will most definitely be missed by his family and friends, but knowing that he is with his Lord Jesus Christ gives the greatest solace and comfort to their hearts. They will see him again one day at the very best family reunion.
Gerald was preceded in death by: his parents, Turner David Sangster and Vera Grace Lunsford his sister, Ida Nell Sangster
He is survived by: his wife, Connie Kay (Kinnison) Sangster his sons, Jeremy Wayne Sangster and wife, Elissa Leigh Sangster and Ronnie Lyn Sangster his daughter, Lisa Michelle (Sangster) Franklin and husband, Roy Leon Franklin and his precious grandchildren: Cameron Lee Franklin Ryan Lane Franklin Emma Kay Franklin Anna Leigh Sangster
