Gerald A. "Jerry" Simonson

Gerald Simonson, known to many as Jerry, departed this life on September 10, 2025. Jerry was born on May 13, 1944, in Janesville, WI, USA. Jerry was a proud truck driver, until his retirement. He was a man of great patriotism, having served our country with honor in the United State Army. His hobbies included listening to country music and watching Western movies, which brought him much joy throughout his life.

Jerry is survived by his sons, Michael Simonson (Clarissa), Jeremy Simonson (Carrie), and John Simonson (Sharon); his grandchildren, Eric, Jared, Brandon, Trevor, Kaylee, John, Devin, Tommy and Brandon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Mazie Simonson and by his siblings, Georgie, Donny, Debbie and Steve.

A Celebration of Life service will be held in his honor on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 4:00 pm CDT at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 2201 Chestnut Street, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, 54494.
