Gerald Spezia Obituary
A true car enthusiast, a devoted Lions football fan, and someone who found joy in relaxing with his favorite western movies, Gerry lived fully in the moments that made him happy, and those passions will forever remind us of him. He was also a devout Catholic who enjoyed spending time with his family.
Gerry was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Spezia, and brother-in-law, Dave Singer. He is survived by his loving wife, Audrey Spezia, sons Doug (Dawn) Spezia, Brian Spezia, and Jim (Jen) Spezia, two grandchildren Shawn (Danielle) Spezia and Isabella Spezia, and his siblings Diane Singer, Nancy (Bill) Burr, Elaine (Bill) Ferrington, and Jim (Sabine) Spezia.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Directors (8459 Hall Road, Utica, MI 48317) from 2:00pm - 8:00pm with a 7:00pm Vigil service. Instate will be Friday, December 19, 2025 at 9:30am prior to 10:00am funeral mass at St. Kieran Catholic Church (53600 Mound Road, Shelby Township, MI 48316). Funeral luncheon to follow.
In lieu of flowers, kindly consider making a donation to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research www.michaeljfox.org on behalf of the Spezia family.
