Gerald Leon Stagner

Gerald Leon Stagner, 82, of Ponca City, OK, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. At his request, no services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.
Gerald was born on Saturday, February 6, 1943, in Ponca City, OK, to Vernon E. And Cleo Marie (Wehr) Stagner. He graduated from Ponca City High School in 1961. After high school, he and his best friend from high school, Doug Revard, joined the US Army National Guard and attended basic training together. He worked for over 30 years for KBR as a construction manager before retiring. During his career, he traveled the world working in Alaska, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and several places in the United States. He loved fishing at Lake Ponca with his beloved dog, Huckleberry, who recently passed away.
Gerald is survived by his sister-in-law, Julie Stagner; nephew, Dake Stagner; nieces, Jeanne Baker, Robin Brown, Jana Stagner, Tina Chappell, and Sarah Dawn. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dean Stagner, Lonny Stagner, and Laile Stagner.
