Geraldine Bailey Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bradley Funeral Home - Marlton on Feb. 6, 2026.
Geraldine L. Bailey, a beacon of love and selflessness, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026, at the age of 89 in Marlton, NJ. Born on May 20, 1936, in Philadelphia, PA, Geraldine's life was a testament to the power of unconditional love and the strength of family bonds.

Geraldine's journey began in Philadelphia, but her heart found it's home in Marlton, NJ, where she raised her family & they became early members of St. Joan of Arc Parish where her Christian faith was a guiding light in her life and an inspiration to all who knew her.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Samuel F. Bailey, Geraldine's legacy is carried on by her loving children: Kathleen Vancho (the late Donald), Virginia Perrone (Robert), Michael Bailey (Kathleen), Timothy Bailey (Eileen), Suzanne Rapp (William), Peggy Collins (Thomas), and Linda Hoagland. Each of her children reflects a facet of her loving spirit and thoughtful nature.

Geraldine was affectionately known as Nana to her adored grandchildren: Natalie (Harold), Tyler (Jonathan), Jessica (Michael), Meghan (Matthew), Aimee (Robert), Marissa (Albert), Ryan (Ashlee), Brooke (Ryan), Will (Tanya), Brandon (Kristal), Dylan (Lucia), Danielle (Cody), Chelsea (Christian), Lauren, and Steven. Her nineteen great-grandchildren will also hold dear the memory of their sweet Nana, who never missed an opportunity to celebrate their milestones and achievements.

Her siblings, James Levins (Trish), Veronica Cariola (Ronald), and the late Elizabeth Stoerrle (John), along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends, will fondly remember Geraldine's thoughtful gestures and her ability to make each person feel uniquely special.

Geraldine's life was a reflection of her values: loving, thoughtful, and selfless. She was the heart of her family, always there to support, celebrate, and offer a helping hand. Her homes in Marlton and Brigantine were a haven of warmth and kindness and many family celebrations. She enjoyed gardening, reading, indulging in her favorite sweets & sitting on her porch in Brigantine.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Wednesday, February 11th from 10-11 AM at the St. Joan of Arc Church , 100 Willow Bend Rd., Marlton, NJ. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 AM on Wednesday at the church. Interment will be private. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Koman for the Cure, www.komen.org or to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org
