Geraldine Daugherty Obituary
Geraldine was a Christian and a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother and friend who always had a listening ear. She would faithfully be there for anyone who needed her and never met a stranger. Geraldine loved the porch swing and spent many hours just swinging. She was a member of the American Legion #28.
Preceding Geraldine in death are her parents; son, Jason Nichols; brother, Arlo Fanning, Jr. and sister, Wanda Earl. Left to cherish precious memories of Geraldine are her husband, Charles Daugherty; son, Jeff Nichols (Christina); daughters, Toni Schuler (Kevin) and Melaine Nichols (Barry); 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Daily, Gloria Jackson and Darlene Roma and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Visitation for Geraldine will be held Wednesday, June 15th, 2022 from 4pm to 8pm and Thursday, June 16th from 10am until service time of 11am at Spring Valley Funeral Home of New Albany, Indiana. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
