Geraldine "Jeri" Ferguson, age 86, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025. She was born on June 23, 1939 and was married to the love of her life, Harold Ferguson, for 62 years until his passing. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love, family, and adventure.

As a proud military spouse, she and Harold lived in many places across the United States and overseas in Japan and England. During those years, she gracefully managed the challenges of frequent moves while raising their four children - each just a year apart - with patience, strength, and devotion.

After Harold retired from the military, the couple made their home in Northwest Arkansas, where she began her long career at Springdale Memorial Hospital. She worked as a switchboard operator and later as a technician in the hospital library, where she made many dear friends. After her retirement, she returned to the hospital as a volunteer, continuing to give her time and warmth to others.

Outside of work, she loved being outdoors - gardening, walking the local trails, traveling, and playing Farkle with her friends. She especially cherished time spent with her grandchildren, who brought her endless joy.

She will be remembered for her kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering love for her family. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her four children: Gail Willey of Springfield, Missouri; Gerald Ferguson and wife Toni of Springdale; Judy Lewis and husband Steve of Lowell; and Patricia House of Springdale; sisters, Sharon Gregg of San Diego, California and Pamela Stroud of Sacramento, California. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Alex Ferguson and Jonathan Ferguson, both of Siloam Springs; Jordan House of Springdale; and Megan House of Beebe, Arkansas.

A memorial service will be 1:30PM, Friday, November 21, 2025 at Fayetteville National Cemetery, where family and friends are invited to share memories and words of remembrance. She will be placed in the columbarium with her beloved husband, Harold, where they will rest together once again.

Visitation will be on Friday, November 14th from 4 - 6 pm at Memorial Funeral Home 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, AR.
