Geraldine Mae Goshert, passed away on August 1st, 2025, at her home in Ephrata. Born on October 4, 1937, in Reading, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Robert F. & Vennetta (Ruth) Rupp, and the loving wife of the late Harold E. Goshert.

She enjoyed a fulfilling career, having worked at Hemricks and the Cinderella Sewing factories in Denver. Her dedication to caring for others led her to train as a nursing assistant and later served in that capacity at the Denver Nursing Home and Ephrata Hospital. Geraldine was an avid fan of Penn State, embracing everything related to the university with passion and enthusiasm. After her retirement, she relocated to State College, where she found peace and loved the area. In addition to her professional life, Geraldine expressed her creativity through various hobbies, including crocheting, cross stitching, and making cards, all of which brought her joy and a sense of accomplishment. Her legacy of love, care, and devotion to her family and community will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Geraldine is survived by her three daughters, Cindy R. (Steve) Hartranft of Poplar Bluff, MO, Colette M. (Wilbur) Wentzel of Ephrata, and Cassandra S. (Darvon) Diem of Ephrata; three grandchildren: Amy S. (Jason) Bauder, Tawny L. Fithian, and Joshua S. (Sara) Hartranft; and three great grandchildren, Conner Fithian, Jaelynn Bauder, and Carson Fithian. Geraldine is also survived by her half-sister, Joan B. Hirneisen.
