Gerri went to meet her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, April 11th. Beloved wife of 59 years to the late Melvin "Moe", loving mother of Kenneth (Nina) Oswald, Dena (Donald) Karsin, Charles (Nicole) Myers; devoted grandmother of Kenneth (Debbie) Oswald, Jayme (Steve) Walzer, Alan (Taylor) Hartwick, Kaitlyn (Zach) Weismann, Justin, Jordan, Jared & Andrew Myers; cherished great-grandmother of Ava Hartwick, James, Katelyn, Kristen & Jake Walzer, and Tyler Weismann. She was predeceased by her great-grandchildren, Brooks Hartwick (2025) and Joshuah Oswald (2010).
Gerri will be remembered for her welcoming personality, kind generous heart, and dedication to her family. She always went above & beyond to make people feel special. She enjoyed socializing with her neighbors, as well as activities like the casino, bingo, and diamond art. She will be deeply missed and will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Interment will be at 11:00 am at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville, PA 15017 on Monday, April 21, 2025. Please meet to ride in procession at 10:15 am at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care 5405 Steubenville Pike Robinson Township, PA 15136.
