Geraldine Lynn (Naughton) Perkowski, 64, of North Aurora, Illinois, passed away on June 19, 2025 surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born to Thomas L. Naughton Sr. and Betty (Wallis) Naughton on November 28, 1960 in Chicago Heights, Illinois.
Geri was raised in Dixon, Il. and later moved to North Aurora. She attended Dixon schools and graduated from Dixon High School in 1978. After graduation, she raised three daughters. She then went on to become a Medical Assistant. She met the love of her life and soulmate Les. They were married in Jamaica in 2013.
Geri loved her family deeply, and enjoyed going to Iowa to visit her mom. She also enjoyed going on vacations to see new places, gardening, cooking for loved ones and listening to Andrea Bocelli's music. She also adored her fur babies, Ava and Jsa Jsa. She was known for her smile that could brighten any room. She had a gift for making people laugh.
Geri also enjoyed vacationing in Holland and Saugatuck Michigan and was known to enjoy a glass of wine with grapes while watching the sunset on Lake Michigan.
Geri is survived by her mom; Betty Naughton, her Husband; Les, her children; Jamie Wright, Sarah Wypasek and Alicia Wypasek, Sisters; Jeannie (Ted) Henson, Mary (Kent) Scholl, Brother; Tom Naughton, Grandchildren; Jazmyn, Kamron, Talarie, Olivia, Tia, numerous family members and her loving dog Jsa Jsa.
She is reunited with her father Thomas Naughton Sr. and her faithful dog Ava.
Services will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025 at The Daleiden Mortuary, 220 North Lake St. Aurora, IL. Visitation will be from 9:00am-10:00am with a Memorial service to follow at 10:00am.
