Gerardo G. Perez, born on November 29, 1952, was called home to be with the Lord on September 26,2024. He was a beloved, helpful soul who touched the hearts of everyone he met. His life exemplified love, kindness, and a strong sense of family. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia B Perez, and their children. Vanessa Greer, Jerri Shannon Perez, and son John-Brodie Perez. 8 Grandchildren, Rolando Arevalo, Jasmine Arevalo, Yisenia Perez, David Crews, Javon Crews, Keith Crews, John Crews, and 8 great grandchildren, sisters, Anita Ruiz, Olivia (Rene) Hernandez, Rosa (Xavier) Carrasco, Janie Cross, and brothers, Emilio (Alicia) Perez, Alberto (Maria) Perez Jr, and Margarito (Marivel) Perez mourn his loss deeply.
Gerardo's (Lalo) devotion to his family left an indelible mark on those around him.
He was preceded in death by his parents Alberto and Fransisca G Perez, daughter Marlee Crews and grandson JD Arevalo, who are joyfully embracing his arrival.
Honored Pall bears are John Brodie Perez, Rolando Arevalo, Jamel Crews, Andrew Sanchez, Richard Benavides, Luis Hernandez, David Cross
The viewing will be held on Saturday October 5, 2024 at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home, 12649 Lake June Rd Mesquite, TX 75180.

10 am to 12 pm viewing
1 pm to 3 pm His final farewell
