Just received the news of Gerry's passing.
I worked with Gerry for many many years here in Wollongong servicing the 2way radio community.
Gerry was an absolute gentleman and a good friend.
Very sad to hear of his passing. We hadn't spoken since he moved to the states were I understand he was very happy in his new life.
Gone to soon.
I'll raise a glass in his memory tonight.
My condolences to his wife and children.
All our love from Australia.
Paul and Angela Redmond.

I just found out by reading the silent keys in qst magazine that Gerry passed away. I chatted with him on the radio and we used to talk about bowling and flying. A very nice guy that I enjoyed chatting with. May you rest in peace Gerry.

Very sad to hear of Gerry´s passing. I´ve know Gerry from the 70´s where we both lived in Kiama with the mutual hobby of amateur radio. A good friend and true gentleman on the air and very well regarded in his business life running "Kiama 2-Way Radio"...Steve VK2BGL

Very sad to hear this news. I got to know Gerry quite well through our mutual hobby of amateur radio. I had about 40 contacts (mostly fairly long chats) with him over the years when he was in Australia and about a dozen from the US after he relocated there. Sincere condolences to the family.
