Gertrude Moore was born April 18, 1935 in Ashland City, TN the daughter of the late Ruse Woodrow and Zeda Dee Simmons Binkley.

 Mrs. Moore graduated from Cheatham County High School, where she was a standout basketball player.  She began her working career with Third National Bank in Nashville, where she met the love of her life, Don Moore, Sr., whom she married December 31, 1955.  After moving to Selmer Mrs. Moore worked alongside her husband at Moore Brothers Tractor and Parts Sales, Thomas Oil Company, and Moore Brothers Truck Sales.  Mrs. Moore faithfully read her Bible every day.  She loved playing Tri-ominos with her family and working in her yard tending flowers.  Mrs. Moore was a member of the Freed-Hardeman Associates and the Fourth Street church of Christ, where she taught Sunday School and the cradle roll class.  She also assisted her husband with the role of church treasurer for many years.  

 Mrs. Moore departed this life on April 26, 2024, surrounded by her family at her home in Selmer, Tennessee, at the age of 89 Years, 8 Days.  She is survived by a daughter, Pam Richardson and husband John of Stantonville, TN; two sons, Donnie Moore and Wayne Moore and wife Robin, all of Selmer, TN; seven grandchildren: Andrew Moore and wife Shelby, Eric Moore and wife Monica, Beth Fowler and husband Matt, Trey Moore and wife Molly, Ben Killingsworth, Adam Killingsworth and wife Christie, and Aaron Killingsworth and wife Kelly, all of Selmer, TN; twelve great-grandchildren, Lillybeth Fowler, Luke Fowler, Levi Fowler, Eben Killingsworth, Kylee Killingsworth, Adalynne Killingsworth, Titus Killingsworth, Jack Moore, Spencer Moore, Maddie Moore, Ripp Moore, and Violet Moore; her faithful canine companion, Blue; and many extended family and friends.  

 In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by two sisters, Gin Rose and Eloise Denton, and two brothers, Delmer Binkley and a brother who died in infancy.  

 Memorials may be made to McNairy County Imagination Library.
