Gessica Brunot, a Social Worker for the State of Massachusetts, passed away on Friday, August 30th, after a brief illness. Gessica was born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, in 1975, the daughter of Gerard Brunot and Granddaughter of Clerice Sanon, who helped raise her along with her aunts and uncle. She came to the United States at an early age residing in New Jersey with her family. After completing High School, Gessica moved to Massachusetts living with her uncle Antoine while attending Cambridge College. After graduating she went onto become a Social Worker, working for the state.
She is survived by her son, Aiden Brunot, her siblings, Belinda Duval, Cathia Brunot, Gerard Brunot Jr, her aunts Carole Sanon, Florence Aly and Marie Michelle Charles, her cousins Radiah Herard, Elizabeth Sanon, Anika Maurice, Rebecca Volcy, Andy Aly and Nyla Merizier, and her step mother, Herose Brunot.
Gessica was preceded in death by her father Gerard Brunot Sr, her grandmother Clerice Sanon, and her uncle, Antoine Aly. Family and friends are invited for funeral services at the Weir- MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem ST Malden on Saturday, September 7th at 10 am for a Memorial Service to begin at 11am.
