John J. Hourihan, of Medford, formerly of Somerville, September 12th. Beloved husband of Barbara (Harrington) Hourihan. Father of Karen Cornacchia and her husband Richard of Nashua, NH, Carole Mueller and her husband Charles of Dracut, Patricia Dietz and her husband Peter of Tyngsborough and Debra Buker and her husband Keith of Kennesaw, GA. Grandfather of Candace, Randy, the late Justin; Matthew, Keith, Taylor, Emma and Cole. Great grandfather of Ashlee, Kaylee, Mason, Aden, Landon and Claire. Brother of Ronald Hourihan of Arizona and the late Ann Keegan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. John was raised and educated in Somerville. He is a graduate of Somerville High School. He worked as a Milkman for the H.P. Hood Milk Company in Charlestown for 50 years, primarily serving the residents of East Boston. He was an avid golfer who also enjoyed bowling during his younger years. Relatives & friends are invited to attend visitation at the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Thursday September 18th from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM followed by his Funeral Mass celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 10 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made Tufts Medicine Care at Home, Inc., Development Office, 847 Rogers St., Suite 201, Lowell, MA 01852. www.tuftsmedicine.org.
