Giana Renee Matejko, a beautiful soul, touched the lives of many during her time on this earth. Born on January 20, 1989, she embraced the world with a spirit that radiated warmth and kindness. It is with deep sadness that we announce her sudden passing on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at the age of 34. Giana left behind cherished memories and a legacy that will forever be treasured.
Giana devoted herself to her three beloved sons, whose presence in her life brought immeasurable joy and fulfillment. Despite life's challenges, Giana found solace and happiness in being a dedicated mother. Her love for her boys knew no bounds, and she selflessly poured all her energy into nurturing and guiding them. Giana’s immense love for her children will continue to shine through them as they carry her spirit throughout their lives.
To Giana's parents, Susan and Steve Mathys, she was a source of pride and inspiration. They provided unwavering support to their daughter throughout her journey in life. In times of difficulty or celebration, Susan and Steve stood by Giana's side, offering unconditional love and encouragement.
Giana shared a close bond with her sisters Katelynn Johnston and Tabitha Spaur. Together they amassed an abundance of cherished memories filled with laughter and love. Through thick and thin, they remained steadfast pillars of support for one another. The bond between these sisters was unbreakable, creating an unspoken understanding that brought comfort during both the happiest moments and the toughest trials of life.
Remembering Giana also means remembering Robert A. Matejko whom she has been predeceased by. Although he is no longer physically present in this world, his memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved him deeply.
Beyond the beautiful chaos of family life, Giana had numerous interests that brought light into her world. She found solace in the art of gaming, where she could immerse herself in different realms and embark on thrilling adventures. With a passion for photography, Giana had a keen eye for capturing the essence of precious moments. Her talent allowed her to freeze time and create lasting memories for all those fortunate enough to be a part of her life.
Giana's compassionate nature led her to lend a helping hand whenever and wherever needed. Whether it was offering support to friends or reaching out to strangers in need, she was always ready to extend her kindness. Her altruistic acts of generosity touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible impact that will not be forgotten.
In the last few years of her life, Giana found immense joy and comfort in her faith. She praised the Lord with unfaltering devotion, finding solace in knowing that she was held in His eternal embrace. As we mourn her passing, we take solace in the belief that Giana now rests peacefully in the loving arms of God.
Giana Renee Matejko leaves behind a vast network of family and friends whose lives were forever changed by her presence. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
