James “Jim” Corbin passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025, at the age of 76. Jim was married to the love of his life, Sue Pollard Corbin, for 53 years. Together, they built a life full of love, commitment, and family.

Jim dedicated over 30 years of his career to Chrysler Corporation in Auburn Hills, where he started in the mail room and worked his way to becoming a Technical Writer through dedication, hard work, and a steady presence. In the years leading up to his retirement, he also worked with the Tweedle Group. When Jim wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time outdoors. Being in the woods brought him an abundance of peace and was his idea of “Heaven”.

Born to Irvin and Geraldine Corbin, Jim was the eldest of six siblings. He is remembered fondly by his brother, Thomas Corbin; and sister, Peggy Brown.

He is survived by his wife, Sue; his children, Josh (Alicia) Corbin and Jamie (Mark) Stryjewski; and two cherished grandchildren; Greyson and Violet Stryjewski, who brought him endless joy.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Geraldine Corbin; and his siblings, Patrick Corbin, Emily McIntosh, and Robert Corbin.

Jim will be remembered for his strong work ethic, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to his family.
