Gilbert “Leon” Barfield, age 62 of Indian Mound, TN, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2024 at Dunbar Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Brian Grasty officiating.
Leon entered this life on April 18, 1962 in Indian Mound, TN, son to the late Charles Melborn Barfield and Thelma Lorine McCord Barfield.
In addition to his parents, Leon was preceded in death by his sister, Joanne Harper.
Survivors include his loving siblings, Tom Barfield (Diane), Barbara (Malcolm) Austin, Melborn (Denice) Lynn Barfield, James Ray (Gail Campbell) Barfield; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
