Gilbert Carrillo,79, of Pecos, TX., passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024 in Pecos, TX.
Gilbert was born on July 11, 1944 to Leo Carrillo and Leonor Jara Reyes in Big Spring, Tx. He married Mary Garcia on July 10, 1963 in Big, Spring, TX. Gilbert was a Welder for most of his life and a Boxing Coach for many years.
Gilbert Carrillo was preceded in death by his brother Albert Carrillo, sister Bertha Carrillo, and his parents Leo Carrillo and Leonor Jara Reyes.
Gilbert Carrillo is survived by his spouse Mary Garcia Carrillo, three sons; Ramon Carrillo, Robert Carrillo, and Roy Carrillo, 8 brothers and 6 sisters, 11 grandchildren and 6 Great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home on Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm with Rosary at 7 pm.
Funeral Mass will be held at Santa Rosa Catholic Church on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 10:00 am with interment following at the Toyah Cemetery in Toyah, Texas.
