Gilbert Harry Greber, age 91, of Mount Orab, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025. Born on September 27, 1933, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Gilbert lived a full and rich life dedicated to his family and community. He will be remembered fondly for his unwavering love for his wife, Joan Greber, who was the light of his life. Gilbert proudly served his country, enlisting in the United States Navy on June 10, 1956, and achieving the rank of PNA3 before his honorable discharge on May 20, 1960. Following his military service, he had a successful career in quality control at Cincinnati Gas & Electric, where his dedication and work ethic were widely respected.Gilbert was a passionate Cincinnati Reds fan, and he enjoyed spending his free time fishing and tending to his yard with great pride. His family was his greatest treasure, and he leaves behind a cherished legacy through his son, Garry Greber; daughter-in-law, Joyce Greber; grandchildren, Charlotte (Justin) McFarland and Brian (Natasha) Greber; as well as great-grandchildren, Devon Meadors, Isaiah Greber, and Gabriella Greber.Funeral services will be held on June 17, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Gilbert will be laid to rest at Spring Grove Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. on the same day. The family invites all who knew Gilbert to join in celebrating his life and paying their respects.He will be deeply missed but remembered forever in the hearts of those who loved him.Gilbert was preceded in death by parents Joseph & Estelle Greber, brothers Alfred & Joseph Greber
