Gilbert Guzman Obituary

Published by Forest Lawn - Covina Hills on Jan. 7, 2021.
Gilbert Ray Guzman, 45, of Rosemead, lost his gallant fight against COVID-19 on January 7, 2021 at Greater El Monte Hospital. He was born on April 3, 1975, a son of the late Rudolph and Elida M. Guzman. He was a 1993 graduate of Rosemead High School. Gilbert was a shining example of altruism. He enthusiastically worked for Rosemead Parks and Recreation. He went on to proudly work as an EMT for Emergency and CARE ambulance companies. Most respectfully, Gilbert took on volunteer Coaching responsibilities for several baseball and softball teams throughout Southern California. Sadly, Gilbert was taken far too soon, but his commitment to family, friends, serving others and Angels baseball will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his father, Rudolph, uncles; Michael and Rudy, paternal and maternal grandparents, and his friends; Louis Cisneros and Robert Cervantes. Gilbert is survived by his wife Valerie, children; Andres, Adrian, Alyssa, siblings; Yvonne, Elizabeth, Gabriel, nephews; Anthony, Gregory, Nico, and Brody.
