Gilmore is survived by his son, Tilden (Susan) Porcupine; daughter, Leah (Diego) Andres; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Gilmore was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Porcupine; mother, Emma (No Fat) Porcupine; brothers, Samuel Porcupine, George Porcupine, Aaron Porcupine, and Kenneth Porcupine; and sisters, Louise (Porcupine) Stands and Ione Rocky Mountain.
Pallbearers will be Gabriel Andres, Xavier Running Bear, Eva Sutton, Doyle Bad Heart Bull, Daryl Pipe On Head, Merton Belt, Travis Pipe On Head, and Perry Crow.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bennett County Nursing Home, Avantara Redfield Nursing Home, and All Friends & Relatives.
Wake Services: One night wake service starting at 3:00 PM, Monday, October 9, 2023 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD
Funeral Services: 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD
Officiating: Pastor Asa Wilson
Burial Services: Makasan Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Oglala, SD
