Obituary of Gina Shea Gantt
Gina Shea Gantt, 51, went to be with the Father on Saturday, July 6, 2024.
Ms. Gantt was born in Greenville to Archie Thomas Gantt and Barbara Alice Bayne Gantt. She was a member of Clear Spring Baptist Church and an alumna of Clemson University. Gina Shea searched for ways to give assistance to those in need. She collected blankets every year, personally distributed them, and stopped to supply food and/or dog food to the homeless. She was the Director of Operations at First Light but truly a Jack of all Trades. She enjoyed Arts & Crafts – particularly drawing, painting, and mosaics. Her crafts were always made with love and intended to bring joy. Gina Shea cherished being with family and friends - making the most out of trips to the beach, concerts, and dancing. Puzzles were a particular pass time, and she had a room filled with framed puzzles. She loved people and sharing their lives.
Surviving, in addition to her father and mother, are a sister, Amy Traynham with husband Ryan; a niece, Ansley-Thomas Allison; and a longtime companion, Rick Nazario.
A Celebration of Gina Shea's Life will be 5 o'clock Saturday at Clear Spring Baptist Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Memorials may be made to The Scleroderma Research Foundation.
The family would like to express a special thank you to all of the Doctors and Nurses at St Francis Downtown and East side for their love and care of Shea and her family during her stay.
