Services for Mark Antwan Gantt, 62, of Stonewall are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 13, 2025 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Tony Folger will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.
Mark was called away to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 7, 2025, in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born November 25, 1962, in Ada to Virgil Lee and Ruth Sharon Garrison Gantt.
Mark attended school at Ahloso and McLish and graduated form McLish in 1981. He graduated from East Central University with majors in Education, Psychology & Psychometry. He was employed by various schools and penal systems in Oklahoma.
Mark enjoyed fishing and hunting and taking care of his cattle. Watching sports was a favorite – especially football games.
Mark loved his one and only grandson, Dayton – especially watching him grow up.
Mark was saved and baptized at Fittstown Baptist Church.
Mark was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jessie and Lillian Gantt; grandfather, Jack Garrison; and grandmother and grandfather, John and Ruth Prater.
Survivors include his parents, Virgil and Sharon Gantt of Ada; son, Aaron Gantt of Ada; brother, Greg Gantt and wife Amy of Tishomingo; grandson, Dayton Gantt of Ada; nephew, Corbin Gantt; niece, Alex Gantt; and a special long-time friend, Jeff Andrews.
Bearers will be Jeff Andrews, Joe Cannon, Shaun Garrison, Kenneth Hancock and Corbin Gantt. Honorary Bearer will be Jerry Winters.
