Ginger Lee Hobson, age 55, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully, January 1, 2026 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born May 28, 1970 in Stevens Point, the daughter of John R. and Doris M. (Somers) Hobson. Ginger grew up in the Plainfield area, graduating from Tri-County High School in 1988. After high school she owned a restaurant for many years until she became an over the road truck driver for 27+ years. Ginger loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. She will be fondly remembered for being a great mother, grandmother, significant other and friend.
She is survived by her fiancé Worthing Blum; her daughter Ashley (Alex) Jaramillo; step children Christopher (Cami), Traci (Ryan), Gabriella (Travis), Sarah (Valentino), Wendy and many bonus children; grandchildren Sawyer, Porsha, Grace, Hunter, Hayden, Hudson, Hendrick, Sophia, Wyatt, Vivian, Chevelle, Persephone, Lil Sammy and Theo and many bonus grandchildren; her mother, Doris Hobson; her siblings, Rockford Dominic, David Dominic, Jonathan Hobson Sarah (Louis); further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Hobson; brother Patrick Dominic, daughter Sukora, niece Amanda Hansen and brother-in-law, David Hansen.
Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Good Ole Boys Bar in Hancock with a prayer service at 1:00 p.m. followed by a meal.
