Virginia Ann (Ginger) Seneker February 28, 1953 - December 29, 2024, Olathe, Kansas - Virginia Ann "Ginger" Seneker, born on February 28, 1953, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away on December 29, 2024, in Olathe, Kansas. She was 71 years old.

Adopted by Norton and Marilou Trefs, Ginger grew up in Lake Lotawana, Missouri. She attended local schools and graduated from Lee's Summit High School in 1971. She went on to study secretarial science at Longview Community College, earning an associate degree.

Ginger built a successful career in Kansas City, working for many years at Bendix before transitioning to roles as a legal secretary with several law firms. She retired from Husch Eppenberger in 2000 and later moved to Omaha, Nebraska. In 2009, she returned to the Kansas City area, settling in Olathe.

Ginger was preceded in death by her parents, Norton and Marilou Trefs, and her sister, Janie Taggert. She is survived by her husband, Lee Seneker; her sons, Lance Fletcher and Kyle Seneker; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

She was laid to rest near her parents at Floral Hills East Cemetery in Lee's Summit, Missouri. An informal visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home in Olathe, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Stroke Association at stroke.org. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
