Lawrence Dwight "Larry" Seneker, age 54, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away on September 24, 2025.
He was born on November 30, 1970, in Springfield, Missouri, to the late Donald and Rosemary (Allen) Seneker. A 1989 graduate of Mount Vernon High School, Larry went on to earn his degree from Missouri Southern State University, later achieving his MBA.
Larry had a lifelong passion for learning. He enjoyed reading, studying history, and exploring new technology. Known for his love of camping, grilling, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, he was mostly at home surrounded by family, friends, and his beloved dog. He rarely missed one of his son's sporting events, and his support and presence meant everything to those he loved.
He is survived by his loving son, Anthony Seneker; Anthony's mother, Donise Seneker; his brother, Lee Seneker; and sisters, Kathy Fairchild (Steve) and Mindy Hill (Jim); brother-in-law, Pat Shannon; sister-in-law, Jackie Seneker, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Becky Shannon, and brother, Rick Seneker.
A visitation will be held on September 30, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors, followed by a service at 1:00 p.m. A graveside burial will take place on October 1, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Ozark Prairie Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Anthony Seneker to support his continued college education.
Larry will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for his kind heart, curious mind, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends.
