Ginger Lee West 79, of Shawnee Oklahoma passed away on August 1, 2025 at St Anthony’s Hospital. She was surrounded by her loving Family.
Ginger was born May 13,1946 in El Monte California. She moved to Oklahoma as a young girl. Ginger graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1964. She went to Seminole Jr College and received a degree in computer science.
Ginger was Married to Leonard Wayne West for 25 years and 3 sons resulted in their union, Nicki, Scottie, and Rikki.
Ginger worked for Hertz car rental for many years as a reservation specialist and retired in 2012.
Ginger in her younger years prided herself in making birthday cakes for her children and grandchildren. She also loved crocheting and was an avid photographer. She had the biggest heart for all animals great and small and especially her dogs and cats.
Remaining to remember Ginger's legacy is her Sons Scottie and Rikki, her 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Ginger was preceded in death by her parents George and Rosa Lee Rogers, and her eldest son Nicki West.
