It is with sadness we share the passing of Gino Cosimo Orsillo, 88, January 14, 2024. He leaves his devoted wife, Teresa, after just celebrating 65 years of marriage, December 21, 1958. Gino also leaves his two loving sons, Mario and wife Deborah, and Joseph and wife Michelle. He was also blessed with five wonderful grandsons, Anthony, Nicolas, (Lauryn), Dominic, Gianni and Vincent.
Born February 7, 1935, Gino grew up in Pago Veiano, a small community in the region of Campania, Italy. In 1968, Gino and his family moved to the United States to the Beacon Hill area where he worked for the Oberto Sausage Company for 28 years. Gino was always an extremely hard worker both in and outside of work.
In Gino's youth he spent time in the military and came down with pneumonia. He lost his ability to hear during this time and never was able to learn English. He was dedicated to his family and although Gino only spoke Italian and had challenges understanding he always managed a way to communicate and have fun with his grandsons.
Gino loved his family and they meant everything to him. His funny ways, mannerisms and comments in Italian will continue to be remembered, cherished and put a smile on all of our faces.
A Memorial service will be held, Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Bonney Watson, SeaTac Funeral Home, beginning at 1:00 pm.
