WATERBURY
Richard Orsillo Sr.
"Loving husband, father, grandfather & brother"
Richard Orsillo Sr., 75, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Trinity Terrace in Watertown, CT. He was the loving husband of Louise J. (Rose) Orsillo of 42 years.
Richard was born in Waterbury on August 29, 1947, son of the late Albert Sr. and Beatrice (Calli) Orsillo. Richard was a graduate of Watertown High School and worked in the TV & Appliance business for many years. He opened his own business, Waterbury TV & Appliance, and was very proud to serve the greater Waterbury area for many years, always trying his best to provide high quality care to his customers. As many could attest to, Richard could fix anything. Richard enjoyed watching sports, especially the Yankees, and basketball, always enjoyed phone conversations with his brothers to talk about various sports games. In his younger years, Richard was an excellent athlete as well.
Besides his loving wife Louise of Waterbury, Richard leaves behind to cherish his memory his two children, Richard M. Orsillo Jr. and his wife Charlene of Cheshire, and Lauren Orsillo and her significant other Justin Sawicki of Salisbury, MA. He also leaves behind his siblings, Albert Orsillo Jr. of North Branford, Thomas Orsillo and his wife Mary of Monroe, Robert Orsillo and his wife Carole of Watertown, Jo-Ann Eastwood of Manhattan Beach, CA, and his three grandchildren, Caitlyn, T.J. and Audrey.
