Our family is heartbroken to announce the passing of Giuseppe Giammarino, 26, of Binghamton, NY, on October 3, 2025.
Giuseppe is survived by his father, Rocco Giammarino, and his brother, Luciano Giammarino. He also leaves behind his paternal grandmother, Rosalba Giammarino, and his maternal grandfather, Edmund Shuba, along with many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Marie (Tino) Shuba, his paternal grandfather, Giuseppe Giammarino, and most recently, his beloved mother, Jennifer Giammarino, with whom he now rests peacefully in her loving arms.
As the first-born son and first grandchild on his mother's side, Giuseppe brought immeasurable joy and love to his family. A gifted athlete, he excelled at any sport he tried, but truly shined on the golf course-a passion he shared with his grandfather, father, brother, and uncles. His grandfather fondly recalls that by age 12, Giuseppe could already outdrive him. Giuseppe found strength and solace in working out, was inspired by great music, and enjoyed unwinding with movies, TV shows, and video games. His sharp intelligence and quick wit made him someone who could make you think and laugh in the same breath.
Giuseppe's presence was a gift, and his absence leaves a space that can never be filled. He will be remembered always for his warmth, humor, and the love he gave so freely.
Services were held at the convenience of the family.
