It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gladys Rose Cooper, who departed this life on July 11, 2025, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Born on September 15, 1953, Gladys was a vibrant soul whose passions and interests reflected a life well-lived.
Gladys had a unique zest for life that shone through in all she did. She embraced the joy of dancing, found solace by the beach, and cherished moments spent with horses. Her artistic flair was evident in her love for painting, while the melodies of music always resonated within her heart. However, above all these, Gladys treasured her time spent with family, creating cherished memories that will forever be held dear.
She leaves behind her children, Lawanna Cooper, Jennifer Scott (Gary), Sabrena Slone (Brandon), and Angela Staggs, who carry forward her legacy with love. Gladys is also survived by her sisters, Marion Cook and Marletta Noe, who stood by her side through life’s many journeys. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as extended family and friends, all of whom were deeply touched by her warmth and spirit.
Gladys is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Cooper, her parents, Forest and Loretta Noe, and her baby boy, Kraig. While she may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Gladys Rose Cooper will be profoundly missed, yet her memory will continue to inspire love and togetherness in the lives she touched.
