Gladys Ann Sanders, age 80, of Camden, TN passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Cherrywood Post Acute in McKenzie, TN. Mrs. Sanders was born on December 27, 1944, Benton County, TN to the late Marvin C. Mitchell and the late Flora R. Lowery Mitchell. She was also preceded in death by son-in-laws, Larry Pierce and Tim Hedge; brothers, Oniel Mitchell and Orvil L. Mitchell; and sisters, Nedia Allen, Ruby Hintz, and Rita Z. Williams. Mrs. Sanders was a seamstress at H.I.S. for 26 years and she worked at Life Care for 8 years. She was a member of Haven of Hope Church in Camden, TN.

Survived by:

Son: James D. (Michelle) Clark of Clarksburg, TN

Daughters: Anita Hedge of Camden, TN

Teresa A. Pierce of McKenzie, TN

Sisters: Kathy (Steve) Cashion of New Johnsonville, TN

Flo (Pete) Hargrove of Bruceton, TN

Grandchildren: Larry (Britney) Pierce Jr., Patrick Clark, Erica (Brad) Sills

Great Grandchildren: Mallorie Pierce and Ellie Jane Sills

Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 5:00-8:00 PM and again on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 9:00-11:00 AM at Oakdale Funeral Home in Camden, TN.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 11 AM at Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larry Depriest, Bro. Mark Allgood, and Bro. Larry Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery in Camden, TN.
