Glen Earl Dalton

Glen Earl Dalton, 80, of Cowpens, SC, died Thursday, February 21, 2013, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born September 13, 1932, in Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late Boyce Lee and Nannie Lee Quinn Dalton. Mr. Dalton was a retired foreman with Best Machinery in Spartanburg and a member of Central Baptist Church in Cowpens. Surviving are his loving wife of 61 years, Barbara "Bobbie" Mabry Dalton; son, Mike Dalton (Debra) of Gaffney, SC; daughters, Lynn D. Satterfield of Cowpens, SC, and Jan D. Biggerstaff (Billy) of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Craig Dalton, Brad Phillips, Amanda Gregg, and Jana Biggerstaff; eight great-grandchildren, Kaylie, Eason, Caleb, Mabree, Ella, Karlie, Kinsley, and Brayden; and a sister, Doris Grant (Glenn) of Easley, SC. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Harold Dalton. Visitation will be 1:30-2:30 PM Sunday, February 24, 2013, at Central Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, at the church, conducted by the Rev. Allen Dean Blanton and Dr. Bill Westafer. Burial will be in Daniel Morgan Memorial Gardens.
