Glen T. Davis, age 65, of Taunton, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Morton Hospital in Taunton. He was the husband of Robyn G. (Rugg) Davis. They were married for thirty-eight years.
Born, raised, and educated in Taunton, he was the son of the late Sheldon W. Davis. Sr. and Margaret (Bolster) Davis.
Glen was a hard worker, he was employed at American Insulated Panel in Taunton and worked on the road crew for the past fifteen years. He formerly worked as a carpenter building many houses throughout Massachusetts. He was also known as the jack of all trades because he could fix just about anything.
He had a “happy go lucky” personality, a great sense of humor, and was always right, even when he was wrong. He was always the life of the party and a dancing fool. His family will fondly remember how smart he was. He was referred to as a “human calculator” due to his ability to calculate the square footage of a room without having to measure.
Glen enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved watching and following all the New England Sports Teams and he also loved his cooking shows. He enjoyed camping, being outdoors, and sharing a beverage with his buddies.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his three daughters who he loved dearly , Carrie Davis, Christine Davis, and Chelsea Davis; a stepdaughter, Melissa LaFreniere; a brother, Sheldon Davis, Jr.; his grandchildren, Anthony, Eva Marie, and Michael James; and many nieces and nephews.
