Mr. Glen Paul Morgan, 71, of High Point, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at his home. He was born on January 19, 1955 in Chowan County, NC to James Preston Morgan and Lina Ruth Proctor Morgan. Glen graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in design and worked for many years as an accomplished furniture designer. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church. Glen was preceded in death by his father and his brother-in-law, Clarence Bundy.
On August 6, 1977, he married Susan Williams, who survives of the home, and they enjoyed 48 years of a wonderful marriage filled with love and devotion; also surviving is his son, Josh Morgan and wife Katie of High Point; his mother, Lina Ruth Morgan of Hertford, NC; his sister, Ginger Bundy of Elizabeth City, NC; his three grandsons, who affectionately called him “Pop”, Jack, Sawyer, and Everett Morgan; his brothers-in-law, Marty Williams and wife Beth, Dwight Williams, and Ricky Williams and wife Sara; his sister-in-law, Lynne Pike and husband Jimmy; and several nieces and nephews, who were very dear to him.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Pleasant Church in the FLC with Pastor Chris Clontz officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Glen will remain at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home, 10301 North N.C. Highway 109, Winston-Salem, NC until taken to the church 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will greet friends immediately following the interment in the church sanctuary. Glen loved plants and flowers, but he also loved Mt. Pleasant Church where memorials may be directed to at 6516 Old Greensboro Road, Thomasville, NC 27360.
