He was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel and Pittsburgh Tube. He loved anything outdoors, hunting turkeys and fishing being among his favorites. Glen is survived by a brother, Keller Wells of California; three daughters, Sherry (Johnny) Whitehead of Florida, Tammy (Tim) Hurst and Holly (Mark) Rylett both of Tennessee. Glen and his family would like to thank the entire Welty Home staff for their unwavering love and support during this difficult time. Glen always thought of them as family. During many of outings and celebrations at the close of the festivities, Glen would say, "Take me Home." He truly loved the people of Welty. The family would also like to thank Amedisys Hospice and Grisell Funeral Home for their help and support through this difficult time. Per request, there will be no services at this time. A celebration of life service is being planned for the future.
