Glenda Farrell Goff, 89, passed away peacefully in her sleep February 26, 2026 in Rosepine, Louisiana.
Glenda was born in Elk City, Oklahoma in 1936 to Nora and Raymond Wilson. Her family home was filled with music. During her childhood and young adult life, she was the lead singer in her family band comprised of her father Raymond and brothers Eldon and Ronald (Ronnie).
Glenda met Kelly Goff in Elk City, Oklahoma where they attended school together. Glenda and Kelly were married in 1953 until his death in 2017. Throughout her lifetime, Glenda and her family lived in Oklahoma, Texas, California and Alaska. She worked multiple jobs, but her heart and soul was her family. She loved fiercely and wholeheartedly. She enjoyed playing games (Bingo!) and teaching games to her family. Her light and love will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Glenda was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Kelly Goff. Parents Raymond and Nora Wilson, Brother Ronald (Ronnie) Wilson.
She is survived by brother, Eldon Wilson and wife Linda; sister-in-law, Jean Wilson; daughter, Nelda Rico and husband Michael; son, Mark Goff and wife Patricia; Granddaughters, Donna Shackle and husband Devin and Lisa Ernest and husband Edward, and great grandchildren Ryan & Kelly Shackle and Kira, Lana and Leia Ernest.
A graveside service will be held March 6th, 2026 at 11:00am at The Texas State Veterans Cemetery of Abilene. Preacher Phil Sims from Haskell Church of Christ will officiate.
